Naumi Singapore

Singapore is full of glitz, glamour, and very swanky places, with its glamorous shopping malls, gourmet restaurants and rooftop bars. However, if you want to stay somewhere with character and individuality head to one of Singapore’s gorgeous boutique hotels Naumi, a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World.

The boutique hospitality group was founded in 2007 by an Indian businessman,  Surya Jhunjhnuwala and has recently expanded in Australia and New Zealand.

With artfully designed rooms (and there are 73 in total) , well-considered service and quirky extra touches, Naumi Singapore is all about being a little less fusty and a lot more on-trend.

I loved staying there during my recent trip to the city. It has a cosy and homely vibe with edgy art-inspired decor. There is a guest room, Eden&Nirwana, that has been spruced up to mimic Andy Warhol’s design. It’s filled with dramatic colours and eclectic artworks, taking their inspiration from the acclaimed artist.

There is another room, Gabrielle&Camellia, which takes inspiration from Coco Chanel. All the rooms feature luxury finishes giving them a true sense of style.

Naumi also boasts amazing rooftop infinity pool, three gyms and excellent business facilities with plenty of event space and meeting rooms. So, it’s ideal if you come for either work, rest or play.

The hotel has two restaurants. The Table Restaurant & Bar is on the ground floor and is open for breakfast in the morning and offers authentic mix of Indian street food coupled with gastronomic main courses in the evening.

Florian is an Italian restaurant, located on the first floor of the hotel. They have some incredible tapas style plates as well as classic Italian dishes. Florian offers both intimate indoor and beautiful calm alfresco seating options with stunning views of Singapore city skyline at the hotel’s rooftop pool area .
