Created by a former investment banker and mum-of-two, Anjali Patel Mehta founded her ready-to-wear label during a career break. She wanted to find a way to incorporate her passions for art and travel with her love for comfortable yet beautiful pieces that can be worn from A.M to P.M.

Stepping away from the more contrived forms of her business wardrobe, Anjali created a line of chic, fuss-free, travel separates that go easily from day to night, using ultra-soft, more artisanal fabrics and hand work from Indian craftspeople. An infinite celebration of adventure, her clothes invoke images of balmy sunsets and sophisticated beach parties.
What’s more, the label makes a conscious effort to support post-consumer zero waste and sustainability. Upcycled materials are crafted into designs, while Verandah’s softening and washing processes promote local “dhobis” or washer men at who have been part of Mumbai’s rich heritage for generations.
