Kezmay London is an emerging British brand set for big things. Founded in 2016 by Sundas Ahmed Kazmi and Kerri McEvoy, the label’s philosophy is to create pieces that are luxurious and trans-seasonal, while maintaining an illustrious balance between high fashion and casual cool.

Working in wealth management and investment strategy for nearly 10 years, Sundas saw a gap in the market for contemporary, trans-seasonal and high quality womenswear. She understands that the industry is still very much male dominated, and although competency and professionalism are of course essential, appearances also play a very important role.
She noticed that it was very easy for her male colleagues to invest in a few good suits to get them through the work year, but for us ladies it becomes a little trickier – and while the rules may be relaxing a little, it’s still crucial for working women to show up to meetings sharply outfitted.
“I was always on the go and running from one meeting to the next,”says Sundas. “Then, there were the business trips every week. I had to have a good capsule wardrobe – a good quality coat, not too light not too heavy, a couple of jackets and a good fitting skirt.” And so she set out to create a label that would incorporate all those things so that the modern woman can be elegant and professional at the same time; the brand which is both luxury, yet affordable, and with a playful fresh twist on a British heritage fabric.

While her initial idea stemmed from a business need, Sundas also recognised that her designs would be useful for busy women from all walks of life – from stylish mums on the move to fashion-forward freelancers hopping between meet-ups. Every item is designed to be timeless, feminine and easily styled with other wardrobe essentials.
The debut collection features a range of unique coats, jackets and skirts with tweed milled by one of Chanel’s original suppliers. Paying attention to quality and using the finest British fabrics, local artisanship and only London-based manufacturers, Kezmay London values both heritage and sustainability.
