At the Polo…

If you’re lucky enough to blag an ‘in’ to the Cartier Queen’s Cup Final then you’re going to want to make an entrance. This is the event to see and be seen – and it’s the perfect time to dig out your finest summer apparel. Think floaty florals, elegant wide-brimmed hats – and don’t forget your sunnies for more streamlined people-watching abilities.

At the races…

If you’re heading to the races this summer then make sure you know the dress code as well as you know your horses! The rules are there to be heeded and any attempt to disobey them will be met with a swift departure. Hats and headpieces in accordance with the dress code are of course mandatory, so we suggest planning your outfit around your piece-de-resistance.

For contemporary millinery that’ll set you apart we love Hats by Maria. Her latest collection – “Frida” – takes inspiration from iconic Mexican artist. Maria has ingeniously re-used washed-up plastics to create the intricate floral designs.

At the Regatta…

So you’re off to the Regatta! This legendary sporting event is simply brimming with rich history and rainbow-hued stripes so don’t be hesitant to go bold. The overarching theme of the day is that of an old English country garden party so bear this in mind when planning your ensemble.

At the tennis…

You can go a little more casual for Wimbledon – trade in your stilettos for comfier wedges if your feet need a rest after racing season. Show your support for the players by choosing optic white (which can be a little risky paired with strawberries) or pick a summery print that covers up all manner of stains should the champagne be flowing uninterruptedly.
