Style’n’Snitch brings emerging designers to London

Last week a well-groomed cross section of society descended on a luxurious private members club off Bond Street for a very special evening of fashion and fundraising for a good cause. Met with drinks and canapés on arrival, guests had the opportunity to view rare and cut-price designs privately, while raffle prizes included dinners at top Mayfair restaurants. Proceeds from the raffle went entirely towards the charity Nadezhda , which supports Russian children with disabilities.

Hosted by Marianna Molchanova (a Moscow native who moved to London almost 10 years ago), owner of the British-Russian brand Lubi Menya and an experienced event organiser, the pop-up proved the perfect opportunity for our brand to showcase the exciting new offerings we have coming into our e-shop, as many of our designers have no physical presence here in the UK. It also gave people the chance to try on our clothes, feel the fine fabrications used and to get acquainted with our Style’n’Snitch team.

A host of other pop-ups were also present at the event, selling everything from homewares to fine jewellery. These included Pritch London (by Russian-born Irina Pritch), Korsun (by Katrine Korzun), and Opportunique ( by Anna Khanova), showing that the demand for Eastern European fashion is only increasing across the capital.

Almost 300 attendees of all different backgrounds passed through over the course of the day, allowing us to expand our audience and on our goal of bringing awareness to the incredible emerging talent that we represent. Furthermore, all of our intricately crafted items were on sale for just a fraction of what you’d fork out for a world-famous name brand.
