Padded to perfection: the modern puffer

We’re not sure anyone could have predicted the unstoppable evolution of the humble puffer. Once reserved exclusively for insulating ski bunnies and Arctic trekkers, the padded coat has unashamedly snatched the crown from the bomber jacket and run with it.

It emerged in its simplest form, sporting clean lines and simple colour ways, but as winter 2017 rolls round, the puffer has taken on a fruitfully fashionable life of its own. From bold in-your-face prints to cutting-edge fabrication, here are ten of the most modern puffers around.
