>With a focus on luxury fabrics and bold colours, Ellie Lines is a budding London designer heading straight to the top. Her drapey, free-flowing silhouettes are characterised by striking one-off prints on 100% fine silk. Ellie herself worked for many years in the city as a stylist for various international publications dressing a host of celebs and musicians, and this eye for beauty is truly evident in her collections.
Over her years spent working in the industry Ellie made it her mission to bring home an item of clothing from every location visited, whether it be a hand sown kimono from Japan, or a traditional Eastern European heritage dress. Another huge inspiration for her is the jet-set era of the sixties and seventies, encapsulated by Slim Aarons in his book, Poolside. Think long lines, royal hues and vintage glamour.
Initially focusing on frocks only, Ellie has this year added blouses to her line, and we’re the first to raise a glass to that!
