A new brand to persevere!

Launched only last year, Perseverance is a London-based brand set for soaring heights. Already stocked at Far Fetch, Liberty and Avenue 32 amongst other retailers, the designs are ultra feminine with a little edge, leading the fashion pack to hail it “the affordable version of Self Portrait.”

Founder Eudald Luis takes his inspiration from the modernity of city streets as well as vintage glamour, and his whimsical designs reflect this. Expect to see a carefully constructed mix of Baroque elegance coupled with contemporary silhouettes.

Born out of tirelessly hip East London, Luis told Coggles he sees the brand as affordable luxury – “feminine and demure with some masculine notes and rich in fabrication and details without making the garments super expensive.” Intricately detailed tops and tailored trousers often fall below the £200 mark. It’s perhaps not surprising that the Spanish designer’s first major job was at high street behemoth Zara, a fashion-forward giant known for its slick tailoring at inexpensive prices.

So far lace has been a key fabrication throughout Perseverance’s collections, which include pieces like this cut-out dress available in two ultra on-trend shades of blush and mint. Other must-haves from SS17 include a panelled lace maxi in copper, as well as a host of delicate lace-work blouses that are perfect for the changing seasons.

Here’s one brand you’ll want to persevere with.
