Here are four brands that’ll let you shop guilt-free.
ByAlona
The brainchild of Alona Shelemy, By Alona is a newcomer you’re going to want to get to know. Though many of her pieces are inspired by vintage jewellery, she always manages to add a thoroughly modern edge – think futuristic geometry paired with vintage detailing. 10% of all profits go to Women’s Trust, a London-based charity that aims to end domestic violence against women. Her new season Lavoisier choker and earrings come in gold, rose gold and silver, and are utterly stunning alone or as a set.
Linhardt Design
Founded in 2008, Linhardt has become globally renowned for its modern, celebrity-endorsed jewellery – J.Lo, Nicki Minaj and Gisele Bundchen are all fans. Chunky cuffs, statement earrings and contemporary ring designs epitomise the New York-based brand, that’s also devoted itself to improving sustainability and third world education. A percentage of all profits go to the Kenya Education Fund and 3 Mariposas Montessori in the Dominican Republic.
Joan Hornig
