Leading the handmade pack from Belarus is Tanya Tur - a young entrepreneur and designer, specialising in artisanal textiles and high quality knitwear designs.  Only graduating from Vitebsk Technological Institute in 2009, she was selected as a finalist in multiple Fashion Festivals hosted in Belarus, Russia, as well as Europe. She interned at a prestigious Fashion School, Lette Verein , Berlin and now has her own store and workshop based in Brest, Belarus. With a focus on craftsmanship and fabrications , the result is effortless basics with a hand-spun twist. Floral ornaments and unique embroideries, which have a fairytale-like feel, are often her trademark. Be it a knitted sweater or a wool coat, she combines folkloric features and her own heritage and knowledge of the Eastern European culture into her designs, creating timeless pieces that are forever to keep.
